In its meeting dated 3.06.2024 the Executive Committee approved the Transfer policy and the following rules are made for players seeking transfer to Delhi-:
a) Any new player who is seeking transfer from another state will have to give an NOC up to 30th June of every year (as per TTFI rules) from the respective state/Institution and the same needs to be emailed to the secretary, DSTTA and to be submitted online while applying for registration and have to mandatorily upload the documents as mandated on website. Once applied, the same will be approved by a committee made by DSTTA. Any application with incomplete documents will be liable for cancellation unless approved by the Committee.
b) Any transferred player will be entitled to play in all Delhi tournaments, but there will be a One-year moratorium for that player to be selected in the Delhi team and he will not be considered for the Delhi team for that particular playing season, however, he will be entitled to play in open individual events in any National event/s and his/her entry will be sent by DSTTA to any National Ranking/ National Championship conducted by TTFI as extra entries categories subject to approval from TTFI, however, the above rule will be subject to the following exceptions.
(i) Any outside player who has got a Central/State Government job in Delhi
(ii) Any outside player who has got admitted to Delhi University, IP University or any other Govt.MBBS/Engineering/Law College etc.
(iii) Any former Delhi player who had gone out of Delhi and played for some other institutions such as PSPB or from some other state in India and is coming back to Delhi and was earlier staying in Delhi, provided at least once he/she had already played for/in Delhi.
As regards all the above categories from (i) to (iii), the transfer policy and the rules made above, will not be applicable to them, if they are coming back to Delhi and submit an NOC on or before 30th June along with all requisite proof for their exemptions.
